[Visa-Free Benefits Continue to Drive Passenger Traffic to Shanghai Ports During Spring Festival] Since the start of the Spring Festival holiday, as of 00:00 on February 21, the Shanghai General Station of Immigration Inspection has processed a total of 679,000 inbound and outbound passengers. The two major international airports, Pudong and Hongqiao, have processed a total of 656,000 inbound and outbound passengers, with 340,000 outbound and 316,000 inbound. Pudong International Airport handled 605,000 inbound and outbound passengers, accounting for over 90% of all passengers. Nearly 23,000 passengers chose to spend the Spring Festival at sea by cruise ship. Since the start of the Spring Festival holiday, Shanghai immigration authorities have processed a total of 62,000 foreign passengers entering through airport ports. Among them, 32,000 foreign passengers utilized the visa-free policy and the 240-hour visa-free transit policy, accounting for 52% of the total number of foreign passengers entering through Shanghai ports.
