[Pakistan Claims Precision Strike on Terrorist Camps in Pakistan-Afghanistan Border Region] On February 21, Pakistan's Ministry of Information and Broadcasting issued a statement saying that following a series of suicide bombings in Pakistan, Pakistan has obtained conclusive evidence that the attacks were carried out by the Pakistani Taliban under the direction of its leadership and controllers in Afghanistan. The statement indicated that the Pakistani Taliban and its affiliated groups, as well as the Islamic State of Khorasan, also claimed responsibility for the attacks. The statement further stated that Pakistan had repeatedly urged the Afghan interim government to take verifiable measures to prevent terrorist organizations from using Afghan territory to launch attacks against Pakistan, but the government had not taken any substantial action.
