[Kosovo's GDP Grows by 4.06% in Q2, Slowing Growth] ⑴ In the second quarter of 2026, Kosovo's economy grew by 4.06% year-on-year, a slowdown from the revised 5.27% growth in the previous quarter. ⑵ Growth was widely distributed across sectors, with wholesale and retail trade, motor vehicle and motorcycle repair, transportation and warehousing, and accommodation and catering services growing by 3.48%. ⑶ Financial and insurance activities also saw a significant increase of 15.67%. ⑷ Other growth came from information and communication (5.04%), arts, entertainment and leisure, household production activities and other services (1.29%), scientific, professional and technical activities and administrative and support services (3.99%), and manufacturing (3.48%). ⑸ On the expenditure side, exports of goods and services had the greatest impact, growing by 6.82%; gross fixed capital formation grew by 11.91%. ⑹ Government spending grew by 7.02%, and household consumption grew by 4.4%.
