On November 1st, it was learned from Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group that its subsidiary, Da An Gene, has successfully passed the Class III medical device registration approval of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), with the corresponding registration certificate number being: 国械注准20263402223. This is currently the first chikungunya virus antigen detection product in China to receive market approval. Chikungunya fever is an acute infectious disease caused by the chikungunya virus and transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes. The approval of this detection product will provide a more convenient testing method for rapid clinical screening of the disease and for the prevention and control of imported cases at ports of entry, helping to achieve early detection and early treatment of related cases and further improving my country's ability to control such mosquito-borne diseases.
